CIRCULÉIRE Member REvolve Fleet Launch Castleblayney Facility

In September 2023, REvolve Fleet, one of the newest members of the CIRCULÉIRE network launched their facility in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan. They were joined at this momentous event by Minister of State Ossian Smyth TD, with responsibility for Public Procurement, eGovernment and Circular Economy, and Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD.

REvolve Fleet, under Managing Director Richard Brennan, and Operations Manager Brendan Rafferty, are leading the way in driving circular action within the automotive sector by implementing custom-built technology to streamline the sourcing of green parts for automotive businesses. The REvolve Fleet model brings green part suppliers (vehicle recyclers) and green part consumers (insurers, repairers, fleets etc) together in a structured and value-driven way.

Working with an extensive network of top-tier salvage agents and authorised vehicle recyclers throughout Ireland and the UK, enables REvolve to offer the highest quality parts and services to their customers. All green parts procured by REvolve have been meticulously assessed to adhere to VRA standards, guaranteeing that only the finest quality green parts are used in the repair cycle.

“Our main goal is to provide a Green Parts directive to the citizens of Ireland, so they can have an ethical choice when choosing a part for their vehicle repair, and choosing a green part rather than a new part. We’re very passionate about sustainability and our company is going forward with a lot of job opportunities within the sector, in rural Ireland, nationally, and across Europe.”

One such client benefiting from REvolve Fleet’s green procurement practices are An Garda Síochána. Through the sourcing and use of green parts in the Gardaí have had a net Co2 saving of 38,477kg Co2 in 2022 alone.

Mark Murphy, Fleet Technical Supervisor, An Garda Fleet Management said “Using high quality, safety checked green parts, rather than new parts, not only ticks the environmental box for An Garda Síochána, but helps ensure the quickest possible turnaround for repairs. We’re excited to see further carbon savings as we continue on our sustainability journey with Ted4Parts through REvolve.”
