European plastics producers are committed to the Circular Plastics Alliance target of 10m tonnes of recycled plastics to be used in products by 2025, and they are calling on the European Commission for a target of 30% mandatory recycled content for plastics packaging by 2030. 

Achieving these targets will require collaboration as well as an enabling policy framework across the industry. From plastics producers and recyclers to waste-management organizations, brands and investors, it is crucial that the industry demonstrates agility and flexibility to innovate and adapt business models.
