The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) is a landmark event of the year that brings together business leaders, policymakers and experts to present the world’s best circular economy solutions.
This forum organises side-events that explore a plethora of topics related to the circular economy and how it is implemented across the world. The full list of side events is available here.
This side event is being organised by EIT Climate KIC, which is one of CIRCULÉIRE’s strategic partners, and European Commission’s Executive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises (EASME). This event will explore how the efficient design and funding of circular economy research & innovation can support nations all over the world with their economic recovery plans. Bringing together a global community, the session will offer an excellent opportunity for learning and best practice sharing, and increase cooperation for a circular economy transition. This event explores funding priorities and investments in a circular economy, with the aim of bringing sustainable transformations and economic recovery – and will also present the final results of the EU H2020 CICERONE project dedicated to circular economy programming and funding.
