Circular material use can minimise waste and resource extraction, improve resource efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and contribute to conserving biodiversity. Yet, most circular economy initiatives in Europe are still at an early stageand would benefit from more investments in upscaling promising innovations and in monitoring progress towards circularity.

FEDARENE is the European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and the Environment. Their upcoming Webinar on Circular Economy will deal with how to become more sustainable and competitive. This seminar will touch upon the many different aspects of the circular economy in terms of material, touching on waste management and recycling.
