About the event

How to make SMEs more circular

The European Commission is hosting a webinar on the implementation of Product and Organisation Environmental Footprint (PEF/OEF) methods.

The session will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of PEF and OEF methods, focusing on how to implement them. PEF and OEF information seeks to reduce the environmental impact of goods, services and organisations by taking into account supply chain activities from extraction of raw materials, through production and use, to final waste management. It is, in short, a tool for assessing, reporting and achieving circularity throughout the life cycle.

Expert speakers will highlight the opportunities and challenges associated with these methods, enabling the audience to gain valuable insights and practical knowledge. The event is designed to support individuals and organisations aspiring to position themselves as environmentally conscious enterprises, but which require guidance on how to do so. The event will foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing and networking.

The webinar is being organised by ALDA, in cooperation with its partners Studio Fieschi and CBRE, under the European Commission’s tender for Capacity Building and Information on Environmental Footprint.

The webinar will take place on 27 July 2023 from 09:00 to 13:00 CEST. It will be held in English with interpreting into Polish and Romanian.
